Mana’o is proud to host the book The Persistence of the Gift: Tonga Tradition in Transnational Context by the anthropologist Mike Evans. Dr. Evans’s publishers allowed him to make the book available online in order to allow the people of Tonga access to it. We are glad to have this opportunity to make it available to them, and to demonstrate the utility of an open access repository which includes not just unpublished papers, but published monographs as well.
